Ottawa Black Bears uniform released

The Ottawa Black Bears, Formerly the New York Riptide (2018-2024) continue to progress towards the start of their inaugural season, Officially unveiling their Home and Away jerseys on Thursday Night.

The Ottawa Black Bears don the traditional Ottawa Black, Red and White colour pallet with the addition of the Ottawa Senators Gold used as an accent in both the home and away jersey.

The Black Bears are the second National Lacrosse League team in the National Capital, the Ottawa Rebel made their debut ahead of the 2001 season after Brad Watters relocated the Syracuse Smash. They would end up moving to Edmonton and becoming the Edmonton Rush now the Saskatchewan Rush ahead of the 2005 season.

The small details within the jersey makes it unique. The Canadian Flag within the Bear paw and individuals holding hands across the bottom of the jersey and the arm sleeves bring a sense of community and unity.

The National Lacrosse League play 18 game season starting in early December through until the end of April.
