Week 8 of the Canadian Football League kicks off Thursday night in Montréal with a clash of top teams as the 5-1 Saskatchewan Roughriders roll into town to face off against the 5-1 Montréal Alouettes.

Both teams head into the game with key injuries, the Roughriders will be without American Running back A.J. Ouellete due to a hip injury and Canadian receiver Kian Schaffer-Baker due to a Shoulder injury. The Montréal Alouettes will be without American Quarterback Cody Fajardo who was placed on the 6 game Injured List with a hamstring injury.

Shea Patterson has started to come into his own since taking over the starting spot for injured Trevor Harris.

What a game for the 2024 7th Round pick as he put up 110 yards, 1 touchdown on 4 receptions vs the Blue Bombers in week 7.
