
With training camp fast approaching, the Edmonton Elks have announced the addition of a pair of Americans, Running Back Rushawn Baker and Offensive Lineman Cam Carter.
Baker (23) joins the Elks after a strong 4 year collegiate career. The 5’11 Victor, New York native suited up for Elon University in 2024, putting up 859 yards, 9 touchdowns and averaged 4.9 yards per carry. Prior joining Elon University, he spent 3 seasons with Bucknell University (2021-2023) and put up 1359 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns.
Baker would go undrafted during the 2025 NFL Draft but signed with the New York Giants. He would also spend time on the New England Patriots Practice roster during the 2025 season.
Carter (28) comes north with plenty of Pro Football Experience. The 6’5 315 pound Offensive lineman spent four season with Murray State before spending time with the Michigan Panthers (UFL), Houston Roughnecks (UFL), and the New Jersey Generals (USFL).
CFL Rookie Camps begin May 6, Main Camps open May 10.
