The Scarborough Shooting Stars announced today that the team has signed Jaden Campbell, a Brampton Native, to the 2024 roster. He played NCAA basketball with Florida Southwestern State College and Samford University. Campbell averaged 11.3 points and 3.3 rebounds in 22.5 minutes per game through 32 games for the Bulldogs this season.
Prior to that, he played two seasons with Florida from 2019-2021, where he averaged 9 points per game in 46 appearances. He was a bench player to start his NCAA career, but had a career performance against Miami Dade as a starter on February 17, 2021, where he had 24 points and made 10 field goals.
He joins Hason Ward, Jackson Rowe, and 2024 CEBL Draft picks Koat Thomas and Davante Hackett as new faces on Scarborough’s 2024 roster
